This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit www.gpthumanizer.ai or use our services, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. Where consent is required for a particular processing activity, we obtain that consent separately.

1. Definitions

DATA CONTROLLER DATA CONTROLLER means a natural or legal person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data are, or are to be, processed. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are a Data Controller of your data.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our Service, we collect:

  • Account and contact information, such as your email address, account identifier and information you provide when contacting support.
  • Content you submit for processing, including text and uploaded files, and the results generated by the features you use.
  • Usage and technical information, such as feature usage, word counts, timestamps, IP address, browser and device information, and error or security logs. We also collect this information from visitors who use the Service without an account.
  • Transaction information, such as your subscription plan, payment status, transaction identifier and billing information provided to us by our payment processors. Payment card details are handled as described in Section 6.
  • Cookie and similar tracking information used for essential website functions and, where enabled and permitted, analytics and advertising measurement.

3. How We Use and Share Your Information

We use account information to manage your account, authenticate access and send service notices. We process submitted text and files to provide the writing, rewriting, translation, detection or checking features you request. We use usage and transaction information to manage subscriptions, usage limits and billing. We use technical information and support communications to maintain security, troubleshoot problems and provide customer support.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal data as necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, subject to your rights. We rely on consent for activities that require consent under applicable law, including relevant non-essential cookies and advertising tracking.

We share relevant personal data with service providers that support these purposes: hosting and storage providers receive data needed to operate the Service; AI and checking providers receive the content needed to perform your requested processing; payment providers receive information needed to process payments; email providers receive your email address and the message content needed to send service and support emails; security providers receive technical information needed to protect the Service from abuse; and analytics providers receive usage, device and browser information needed to measure and improve the Service.

If you reach our Service through a referral partner's website, we share your email address and purchase information with that partner so that referral commissions can be calculated.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law.

Microsoft Advertising

We use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) for advertising measurement and conversion tracking. Through UET, Microsoft collects or receives personal data from visitors, including online identifiers, IP addresses, device and browser information, and website interaction and conversion data.

For information about Microsoft's processing of personal data, please see the Microsoft Privacy Statement: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/privacy/privacystatement

Your advertising tracking choices are explained in Section 9.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Account information is retained while your account is active and thereafter as necessary to handle account closure, outstanding obligations or disputes. Transaction records are retained for applicable accounting, tax and legal requirements. Technical and support records are retained according to operational, security and enquiry-handling needs.

Submitted text and generated results are stored with your account or visitor record and, for supported features, shown in your history. We do not currently apply a fixed automatic deletion period to this content. Removing an item from your history hides it from your account but does not immediately erase it from our systems. Uploaded files are processed to extract their text; we keep the extracted text as submitted content rather than the original file. You can ask us to erase your submitted content or your account as described in Section 9.

When determining retention periods, we consider the type and sensitivity of the data, the purpose of processing and applicable legal requirements. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, subject to necessary legal retention and backup deletion cycles.

5. Data Transfer

Personal data is processed in the United States. These locations may be outside your country of residence and may have different data protection laws.

You may contact support@gpthumanizer.ai for further information about relevant international transfers and safeguards.

6. Payment Information

We do not collect or store your full payment card number or security code. Card details are provided directly to our third-party payment processors, Stripe and PayPal, whose use of your personal information is governed by their own privacy policies. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS.

We receive and retain limited payment information from these processors, such as card brand, the last four digits of your card, billing name, email and address, and transaction identifiers.

7. Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective.

9. Your Privacy Rights and Contact Us

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, obtain a copy of it, or object to or restrict certain processing.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, contact Ignis AI Limited at support@gpthumanizer.ai. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law.

You can refuse or withdraw consent for non-essential analytics and advertising tracking, or opt out of targeted advertising and related data sharing, by contacting us at support@gpthumanizer.ai. Browser cookie settings provide additional controls, but do not replace this opt-out mechanism.
